Assistant Project Manager
Responsibilities:
 Daily interaction with the Sr. Project Manager and Site Superintendent.
 Assist coordinating subcontractors.
 Initiate, maintain, and manage Submittal Log. Integrate the log into the schedule.
 Maintain Change Order and RFI logs and assist with preparation of documents.
 Assist in pricing and budgets.
 Attend weekly meetings, prepare notes and agenda.
 Create, assemble and organize closeout documents.
 Enhance customer experience.

This is a position of increasing responsibility, must be able to be promotable to a Project Manager position within a period of 3 years.

Requirements:
 Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business Management.
 Work well with others, i.e. Owners, Architects, Subcontractors and all members of the project team with a positive, professional approach.
 Physical ability to act as a temporary Site Superintendent and being willing to do so as required.
 Willingness to learn and understand construction project flow from bid through closeout.
 Understand priorities and possess a sense of urgency.
 Monitor project cost analysis activities on routine basis
 Assist in development and implementation of recovery plans for off schedule and unanticipated eventualities
 Participate in weekly manager meeting and takes an active role in preparations
 Must be capable of responding to emergencies promptly to organize and lead corrective action steps.
 Capability to work within a deadline and Aptitude to multi task.
 Safety conscious, quality outcome oriented.
 Neat, polished, comfortable dealing with all levels of management.
 High function of organizational and people skills required.
 Verifiable computer skills required.
 Business savvy and common sense a must.
